Privacy Policy
Introduction
Daylo is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use our application.
Data Storage
Your habits and logs can be persisted through InstantDB so they remain available across your devices. InstantDB acts as the dedicated backend for habit data, while we still avoid syncing anything that would identify you personally. Any data stored with InstantDB is tied to your account and may be encrypted or protected per their platform guarantees.
Data Collection
We only collect the information you provide through Daylo itself, namely the habits, logs, and configuration data required for the experience. We do not collect usage analytics or tracking data.
iCloud Sign-in is offered solely for authentication purposes; we do not retain any user identification data from Apple. Authentication is handled by Apple, and we handle only the tokens needed to link your app data to InstantDB.
Third-Party Services
Daylo integrates with iCloud for authentication and InstantDB for optional cloud persistence. Apple controls your Apple ID and authentication session; we never store identifiers like your email or name. InstantDB stores your habit data, but we do not share that data with other partners or vendors.
Data Security
Since all data is stored locally on your device, the security of your data depends on your device's security measures. We recommend keeping your device protected with a passcode or biometric authentication.
When syncing with InstantDB, we rely on their platform security layers and encryption. You should still use strong authentication for your accounts to keep that cloud data safe.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
